The most important thing overlooked in adding blowers is fuel.
You are wasting your time jetting until you get proper fuel to the carb.
I just went through the similar situation. I replaced my tubes with 1/2
inch. I also had to run returns and bigger vents. If I remove the fuel feeds to the carbs I fill a 1 gallon container in less then 13 seconds. The fact that your only running one carb actually requires more then someone running two carbs per engine. I have fuel pressure gauges on dash and didnt see them
drop either. But it was still starving for fuel.
Good luck

I think you guys have convinced me that it is a fuel supply problem. I can easily get to my fuel tank and vent tube. What precautions must I make prior to removing and replacing the tube. Is there any special tube i need to get other than 1/2 tube.
What steps should i take, I just towed the boat 300 miles from my lake house and it still has 3/4 tank. The gauge was showing empty or barely moving so before we tested we dropped another 25 gallons, then the damn gauge popped back to life and i was at full tank again.
I would like to tackle this project prior to leaving, any advice.
Thanks again.

This is what I ended up doing. I have 3/8npt female welded bungs in the tank. The restrictive 3/8 alumminum tubes slid into these with a 3/8 brass
90 on the top. I removed and tossed these tubes and brass 90,s. I went to the local hobby shop and puchased 15/32 thinwall brass tubes.
these are 1/32 less then 1/2 inch id. They fit perfecly in a double male 3/8
npt nipple. I "mean perfect" I measured the correct depth off old tubes.
allowing for the threads on the nipple. I cut a 45 degree on the bottom of the new brass tubes and solderd the nipple on top. Dropped them in the 3/8npt tank bungs. Threaded a non restrictive brass elbow on the top then went with aeromotive # 10 pipe adapters to the # 10 hose. then to wix
high flow filter heads 1/2 npt.
This procedure allowed me to increase the pickup tubes without any cutting or drilling.
If you have the same on your tank dont hesitate to call me ill walk you through it.
Hope this helps

Re: Need Jetting Advice
img4 shows the fuel separator after the fuel pump, and 5 shows you the level of the fuel line to the pump if you look real close.
Thanks guys.
