bravo1 vs hydro on fountains
has any one with a non step fountain ran hydros then switched to bravos.
i run 26p hydros 5600rpm thinking of going to 28bravo1 4bls. trying to lower the rpms a little, what about spinning the props in.

Re: bravo1 vs hydro on fountains
Everyone has their own opinion on props, but for the longest time, the 28p Hydro Quad IV was the prop of chioce for the 33/35 Fountains. Those are what came with my 10 Meter back in 1986, and until last week, that's what has stayed on it. Good transom lift, real good mid-range accelleration, and decent holeshot.
I just had a pair of Konrad 540 drives installed, and Hydromotive suggested running the P5-X in a 27p. Still not convinced this is the right setup for me, and I've sent my 28 Q4's out to have larger hubs installed. We'll see this weekend.
I've not tried Bravo props, and probably won't.
Good luck,
Brian
