Default High Pressure Fuel Pump -> Automotive Equivalent?

Hey Ive got a small problem with Mercury (in Canada)
Im running a pre-cool fuel 502MPI...Well trying to...
My High pressure fuel pump is dead...Merc Part 808505T
Does anyone know if there is an automotive equivalent to this
part? Merc is back-ordered and given our limited season Im
hoping to not have to wait forever.... thanks in advance MW

See if there is another part number or manufacturers name on it.
Try www.injector.com ask for Tim he was able to set my injection up since all my parts were no longer available from Merc. BTW all my parts are Bosch and readily available in the aftermarket for MUCH less than Merc stuff.

thanks sonic... i shot him an email hopefully he will be able to help me out...
re; Bosch, No Doubt much cheaper then the OEM products and likely the exact same stuff without the the Merc stickers which seem = a 100% mark-up in prices..
thanks again MW

Velo- Bosch IS Merc OEM on my boat, the parts have Bosch and the Bosch PN stamped on them. As far as markup try $300.00 for a, (as in one), Merc obsolete fuel injector, I got all 16 for less than $800.00, flowed and matched.

Try this:
A fuel pump for a late 80`s Ford pickup with FI should do the trick. They have a lower psi pump in the tank, but you will need to ask for the "inline" frame-mounted pump. Should cost you about $100 at the auto parts store. Ask for one for a 1988 F150 with fuel injected V8. I can get you a part number maybe tomorrow. If I recall, this pump puts out 90 psi, not sure of gph rating.
