Keep an eye on ebay. They've been popping up lately. There was one in the classified section too.

This guy had a bunch of hawks for sale. He's sold most of them, but the market has dried up.

The conversion is suppose to work well but your hull still needs natural bow lifting characteristics. I talked to them about the conversion and it was about $3000 plus you'd have to buy #6 props which aren't cheap.

Bubba, nothing that works comes cheap. The difference between a drive and a blower is one will never blow up your motor

The props have to be installed on the spline and be 'timed' to accomplish that. The (2) five blade cleavers shown in your picture do not appear to be timed, and I question the amount of water you will pick up with the the first prop to make the second efficiant. How fast does that boat in the picture run??? (BTY - anyone that needs help timing BlackHawks, do not hesitate to call or email me...
Can't really time them. Front is a four blade and rear is a five. If I remember right those props were originally tested on a 20' cig with a wacked out drive ratio. The cig had a 454 that was about 400hp and the boat ran close to 85mph.

Typically a cat application was the best for the BlackHawk, however, there are (3) V hulls that respond quite well to the drive. Donzi, Wellcraft, and OuterLimits made the three hulls. Two of them have LOTO Speed records. There is your trivia question for the night. Which 2 have speed records running BlackHawk drives?
ACTUALLY .... "SilentChoice" was all the rage back in 1994 . We put it on boats that were built in '93 and '94 .... just for the record .

What OL ran BlackHawks ???

Whats the REAL story on the 22 Donzi / BlackHawks ??? Handling issues ???

This is one of the first set of blackhawk props, I believe, What was it early 90"s ? We Labbed and Polished them. I think they are neat looking props.
