hit my best speed #s ever tonite @ 96.2 and went to do another pass and at around 87 the drive let go.the case didnt blow apart and the prop is still there but its only a bravo 1 with some upgade parts and im pushing over 700hp procharged so i think ill bag it and get somthing stronger.think ill go check out the classifieds.in need of a 1.50 ratio low water pickup outdrive rh rotation at least a xr or stronger.

i need to know what boat you are in running those numbers. i run 945hp an a light 25' boat and dont run much faster what is your setup maybe i am doing something wrong. what prop? at what rpm did you make those speeds. gps? just wondering. my boat bone stock 385hp ran 71 in the powerboat mag test and it took 560hp to go 28mph faster. what motor and how much boost?

sure,its a 29 foot kryptonite f1 series (no radio or cusions in the cabin or on engine hatch) actually its 27 ft with a 2 ft built in swim platform to make it 29ft.single procharged (m1sc) 500hp carbed motor .060 over with edlebrock heads and about 6.5 lbs boost made low 700s hp on the dyno.bravo 1 1.50 ratio.spinning a box stock 33 hydromotive qiv.boat weighs around 4500dry.kryptonite has i think one of the fastest v hulls out there.check them out at kryptoniteboats.com .my boat is the all yellow one in the owners gallerie and more pics of it when you click on 29 sport series even though its the f1 series.hey kirk does this get me a discount on a new drive,just kidding.sean

forgot its spinning around 5400rpms it still has the stock hp 500 hyd roller cam.yeah on gps it has 2 gps`s on the boat gps a analog gps speedo shows overs 96 1/2 and garmin 182c gps 96.2.

Never hurts to have a good fast hull, boy I miss my Daytona. Good luck on the drive, I had good luck with xz (in the Daytona) and XR in the Pantera, 650 sc ponies in each boat.

The krytonite 27 (28) is a fast hull, it also handles rough water well. We have a customer with a stock HP 525 and it runs 88-89 with a labbed hydro P5.

crypto, i can get you a new bravo zx for 4k. new in box it even includes a hub for your prop to fit the larger 1 1/4 prop shaft

502procharger a xz is just what im leaning towards i dont want to loose the few mph from the xr strait cut gears.i really should put a imco extreme sc on it but i just had to go through the motor in june for 9k.i need a 1.50 ratio low water pickup .call my cell 203 434 6142

I love the looks of the kryponite! And watching Randy and Glen run Typhoon in F1 was awesome.

Have you thought of going to a 1.36 ratio? Would give you a little more room to play with if you ever put more power to it. Just a thought.
