Rookie,
Harold has just updated his line of supercharger and supercharger/marine cams including an new 525 SC cam.
302*/308*
224*/234* @ .050"
.534"/.559"
114* LSA
110* ICL
If you are thinking 420 Mega or Weiand this would be a very good way to go. A custom grind is always an option

rmbuilder, I took a closer look in my book (#90-14499--1 887) and it seems that you're right.

I'll never thrust the Merc publication again.

I've learned that 400's, 420's and 525sc's uses the same cam, but this book...

Also, check out the lift and duration values in pic #2, it doesn't make sense.

GREAT!! This is just the info I was looking for. The $ to HP comparisons are much better with the supercharger, now that I know the core pieces are forged and can withstand forced induction.

Now would I be better off with a roots style or centrifical? I was thinking of a Vortech, but I am ignorant on superchargers. All I know is from reading articles about 5.0 Stangs (my next project) and everybody says that that you can't go wrong with a Vortech.

Any deals on here that might help me?
