Default P.S.I. Blowers

Anyone have any input on these blowers. They are massive 14.71 screw type superchargers.

We've used PSI blowers on everything from top alcohol funny car to marine racing engines and they are a great piece of machinery when used for the right application In our opinion they are a great way to make power the only thing we've found is when they are turned slow they act up at low engine speeds more the the roots type blowers if you have them use them they are awesome Sincerely Laz Mesa

We have found at Zuls that they dont make more power than a standard 14-71 until about 12 lbs. of boost. The manifold inlet temp is down a decent amount above 12 lbs. on the PSI than a roots style.

Yeah, they're sort of "hybrid" blowers. Not exactly a "regulation" Lysholm screw, and definitely not a "regulation" Roots. Sort of a high flow Roots that works from front to back.

Big psi. Big flow.

Do the PSI blowers fit on a standard blower intake or do they use a different one? What size intercooler will fit under them?

They are supose to expensive . Most of the 14.71 blowers I have seen have magniseium intakes

I wonder how much price differance between the littlefield and the PSI would be??

A good 14-71 roots kit is about 4000$.The PSI deal is around 9 to 10 grand depending on application.Don't quote me It might be less for a dealer.

I bought a 8 71 kit from Teague in 1996 for 3600.00 .I did not know better back then. Wish it was bigger know.

Doesn't the 14 71 have a clearance problem with the distributer on a BBC??
