Most definitely a scam, the boy don't know s*#t about much of anything, the picture of his Harley motor is a jap motor and the displacement of the Harley twin cam motor is 88ci.(1450 cc).

Same popular scam, just using a different item then copied pics for.

They were trying to sell a couple of boats a while back. Supposedly they were in Europe but the boats, one was sitting in snow with MD reg. and the other picture, the boat was sitting in WA or Cali.

And they actually reply as if their story will stick!!

I've seen lots of these scams on Ebay, wish there was some way they could better screen the ads so you don't waste time on them. At one point last month 10 cars on the first page of listings under Chevelles were the same type scams.
I really liked the part when they guy emailed me all the information and told me he would ship the 1970 Chevelle by FedEx- yeah ok maybe he needs a little help with that story.

Hi guys, I just won the auction, what do you suggest me to do ????

The guy has positive feedbacks, form people that have positive feedbacks...etc.
But many things seems to be odd.

Don't want to throw money from the window but don't want to loose a good deal ...

Thanks, to people that will help me and thanks to those who already e mailed me suggesting to be careful!

Have you asked them for the S/N? I'm sure you could confirm whether they have a valid S/N for that motor. Not that it will make the deal any more stable, but.....

I asked the guy for the engine SN and the drive SN, he said that they were in a warehouse and could not get to them. Also the shipping was $12K and I would have to pay the customs charges for export and import figure on anouther $3-5K on that.... He gave me 2 escrow companies to use, one didn't exist on the web and the other looked like my daughter did it, and no secure certificates when you start to add info. Good Luck
