I'm waiting for my Raw Water Pump rebuild parts to come in for my Mercruiser Raw Water Pump. I have a '96 454 Mag EFI engine with a Bravo I outdrive. My mechanical fuel pump is driven from the same pulley that drives the raw water pump, and there is some oil in there and a couple of plugs on the housing for checking and changing.

What oil should be in there? I can't find the information and would like to check the oil, maybe even change it out while I have the assembly on the bench.

I tried searching the forum without success.
