Broken Bravo Drive
This past summer I hit a log at about 50.
The gimble got totaled but the drive may be salvageable.
The U-joint came apart, but I think I can fix that my self.
Have a look at the upper case. One of the guide ears got snapped off.
Can a piece be welded in place?
If so, do the internals need to be removed?
I don't want to spend a lot fixing this drive as used Bravos are about $1500.
The drive is a 1997 with about 250 hours on it.
I would put a max of $500 in it to have a spare.
What do you fellows think?

I know skegs that get sheared off can be replaced quite easily.
Should I just look for a used upper?
Anyone hits some rocks and has a good upper?
