Go Big,

It would be helpful to know what size your Fountain is, what kind of power, and how many hours are on the drives? Thanks

Max Machine seems to be the law of the land up here in MASS. All the SUTPHENS up here are using Max parts.

The boat is a 42' with 750hp a piece. Hour wise I would say I'm in the 30 hour range. So far so good. Great customer service (Friday night they stayed late to change the oil).

I run the Bravo XR with 600sc from Merc,, the XR,s have been upgraded with the MAXX parts,, including the Top Caps,, I have over 240hrs on one and the other had a bearing failure at 200hrs,, It was MY FAULT,,, the old (merc) top cap had a crack and the shaft started walking and the bearing failed... thats when I bought the Maxx Top Caps .... but ,,, for sure , its all about the Mec who does your work,,, Drives are very sensitive and the Tolarance"s must be held to perfection for the drives to last ,, My boat weight is about 10000 lbs and I think the Limits will be about 675HP at that weight ,, Good Luck and easy up and easy down ... Its still cheaper than #6 drives
