Default XS Performance hydraulic steering

Can anyone update me as to how their systems are functioning? There was a flurry of discussion when they first came out - almost all positive - then silence as I understand they're not being actively retailed at this time. Thanks.

I purchased a system this year and I am 110% satisfied with it . Top notch quality and looks at a price that is extremely competitive.

Muffman, did you install it yourself? Any concerns about availability of replacement parts down the road? Thanks for the info.

No, I did not install it myself. I don't live that far from Brian Alfrey who manufactures this system. He installed it for me. Give him a call he will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Brian Alfrey 513-407-0215

I installed mine myself. Super easy. Worked great, but sold the boat. Only thing that was strange about it was it steered really hard at idle, almost like a manual steering car. Otherwise it worked perfect as advertised.

I was short a few fittings also, but they were couple $$ items, no biggie...

I can tell you his systems are 1st. class.
As far as hard steering, that's the first I have heard of that.
Did you call Brian to see what he thought about it?
You can't go wrong with XS systems.
Best bang for your buck!
