160 in an open 24 foot almost cat? I sure hope he has no kids and a real good insurance policy because odds are hes gonna die doing it. I was at Elimnator shortly after the 144.7 ride drooling over that boat and I was told, and I quote " Teague said ya, but never again".

Watched the HTM flip a few years ago at the LOTO shootout.......WOW was that Scarry!!!!

My 26 Eliminator will do over 100, that is plenty fast enough for me. At the LOTO it rarely see's that speed.

Gillermos son that works here at the shop on the cylinder heads has a Carrera 26 with a 622 we did for him and runs 125.5 as far as we know he's the fastest down in the Miami area

Les;

What kind of power is that 622 putting up? I had a 632" NA in my Carrera.

I took a 145mph ride in a 32 skater and could not imagine going that fast in a single.....you guys have some screws loose.... Boat test pilots!!

I have a buddy with a 26' firehawk, pushing somewhere around 1200hp. His website says the boat does 125 plus, but I was in it when it hit 129 on gps and I was there when we got him on radar at over 130mph I believe it was 136. You can see the boat and motor at his website, www.badattitudeboats.com. let me tell you 129 on the river was the fastest I'll ever want to go

Ummmm....
The owner of HTM "WAS" killed along with a friend and his engine biulder trying to get to 155.
I dont get the west coast mini boats trying to run these huge numbers. We just dont see water conditions over here that would allow that..

It' nice to see people with some common sense aboat the safty in speed numbers. Some people just like to push the limits, I am not one of those. Doing 100 and to live to boat another day is where I'm at. Hope to sell my HTM this year and up grade to a bigger boat.

where's the rest of the boat? If memory serves me right thats a N/A motor, I still say your running pretty good. A lot safer than some of us.
