Best way to store a Carb?
I will be switching to a new carb and manifold combination and I want to store my present Carburator, sort of put it on the shelf. There is nothing wrong with it, and works just fine, I'm just going to try something else. What is the best method of storing a carb for long term? Draining all gas, keep it wet with gas and a stablizer? Marvel Mystery oil? I would like it if a year from now if want to use this thing I can take it back off the shelf and put in on the engine and it works. Whats the answer?

Marvel oil or WD-40.
Drain gas out with float bowl screw. Pump accel pump dry. Put oil in the bowl vent pump it through the accel pump make sure you squirt some in through the float needle seat. Coat the outside and bag it.

If you can run some fogging oil through the carburetor, and engine first that would be best. If not, drain the carburetor fill it with Marvel Mystery oil and work the accelerator pumps until it comes out of the squirters. Then store it in a sealed plastic bag.
