Wtb 496 Ho Pcm/ecu?
I'm trying to avoid having to pay full retail on one of these things. I emailed WHIPPLE to ask them if the VE Tables in the PCM were any different between the HO & regular MAG (375hp) but haven't heard back yet. I'm assuming the tune is different since the pn#'s are.
UPDATE from Dustin @ Whipple. In addition to the VE tables the spark, idle & knock are also different.
My choices right now
1) Whipple retune $800
2) Purchase from Mercuriser Parts $1,200
3) Or get a used one. (doubtful) since there are nor CARB conversions for the 496MAG yet, right?

saubouin- You should check into one of their kits. It might be what you're looking for without spending a fortune.
