EMI Thunder Cast Riser VS SS Riser
Currently I am using EMI cast risers with Corsa diverters. I want to eliminate the Corsa's and I expect the aluminum cast risers may be a source of restriction on this otherwise decent exhaust. Has anyone changed from the cast to SS risers? I also do not care for the water passage through the risers and that can be eliminated with the SS style. Is it worth $800.00 to make the change?

Good Question! I'm going to change over soon.....going to have custom risers made, its cheaper than buying from EMI.

Dyno,
Please keep me informed of your progress on your custom risers. I have been considering for a couple of years of making my own risers. It's just a matter of finding the time for this and the rest of life's demands. Although I have no proof, I suspect those cast risers on not getting the job done. Right now we are in the middle of "version IV" of my engine. I wiped out a cam lobe after about 125 hrs on it last fall. We have the engine totally apart and doing some more changes. I just can't help myself.
