Adding trim switch & water flush to ProMax 300

I have a pair of 1999 Mercury ProMax 300's on my boat. After buying an operator's manual from Mercury I noticed that the manual talked about a fresh water flush port and a motor mounted trim switch - neither of which my motors have. The manual is also dated 1999. What's up with this? And more importantly how can I add these 2 features to my motors?

Thanks (again to this forum), TJ
