Default SSM 2's or 3's

Can anyone tell me what drives these are or how can I tell the differnce from a 2 & 3.

These definitely look like SSM II's based on the size of the upper housing, and the fact that a small diameter prop fills it up to the cav plate. Also, the trim rams are way too small in diameter to be III's

To be sure, check the serial numbers:

SSM II older than 1985:

serial numbers up to Z2021212C where the first letter indicates the gear ratio

or after 1985:

serial numbers A 544504Z using the last letter as the gear ratio.

SSM III's:

Z38022378C through X38092085C where the first letter is gear ratio

or

A568120Z where the last letter is the gear ratio.

Those are #2's. They are essentially TRS uppers with twin shaft speedie lowers. #3's look very similar but are a completely different drive.
