lemme ask you guys your opinion. i'm running a 30 spectre with 300 x's with 20" sportmaster lowers 80% bay use average a 2 ft chop. spinning 15x32 3 blade cleavers to 6400 rpms @wot. looking to increase mid range acceleration. right now at 4500 rpms put me in the low 70's. spend most of my time between 60-90 any suggestions. holeshot is fine and top end is fine. i know i'll probably have to give up a little up top and i'm ok with that. would like something a little smoother and easier on the gearcase as well. prefer a 4 blade of some kind

We have been very succesful with 30 4 blades for accelleration and it depends on your motor height as to if you run a 15 inch blade of 14.5. If you drop your motors a bit the 14.5s will spin more RPM. If you are only running in the 90's 28's will give you even more.

Hey Steve you know that the only people to deal with in the offshore racing propellers is Matt and Julie from Throttle Up! They are the best of the best and I will only let them touch my props. They are proven winners!

Bryan,
I need Throttle Up's address, phone, E-mail and any indecent photos of Julie you might have ASAP. We need something special for Sarasota, if you are coming.

Where is the RPM limit on your motors?

your ratio is 1.62. 4 blades will cruise better and provide less vibration. Since you are not worried about 1-2mph top end loss you really should look in to them.

What would be the major benefit of dropping the motors a tad and running 14.5" vs 15" diameter props?? If water pressure is still on the safe side wouldnt the 15" props hook up better providing better slip #'s??
