Cool Gino, will the boat be white with an orange diagonal stripe on the bow? I sure hope so.

Re: Our first Press Release with the U.S. Coast Guard
Thanks Augie and Tom...
Ron...That was the first paint scheme we put together...but there legal dept. made a good point, that the race boat looked just like there Cuters...and for to many legal reasons we could not do that. They said "we could see it now, your out testing and boats would be pulling over thinking you were chasing them down..What they decided on was our race team to have the YIC idenity and something new. Being we are campaigning there You're In Command program. We will be doing the scheme of the YIC logo to get out to the public and make more of a awareness of the whole program...The uniforms will be somewhat like Justin Labontie's.
Because of time....we are making it some what simple for this year...The C.G. is already working on next years full paint scheme....

Re: Our first Press Release with the U.S. Coast Guard
Gino,
Look forward to meeting you and seeing the boat.
Our team is supporting the North American Safe Boating Campaign on a volunteer basis and we know the USCG provided the grants to support that campaign.
We plan on having our usual tent set-up with our phamphlets and brochures in Sarasota as well as PFD demostrations for children (we usually conduct the demo when we sign autographs for the kids).
It's great to see the USCG personally involved with offshore racing....Good Job!
Sean

Re: Our first Press Release with the U.S. Coast Guard
Hey Sean,
Great to hear.....I'll drop by and say hi....
For all boaters....we are also working on a program with insurance company's and Boat U.S. for a discount on insurance just for passing a boating saftey course that you can take on-line or with the Auxillary or Power Squadron.
They currently have a few insurance companys that are involved for the discount but we will be working to included many more...so if your have a 16 foot Bayliner to a 39 Dragon( quick plug) you will be able to recieve it....some of you may already using these insurance companys now. I will be listing all the current insurance companys that are involved and the new ones we are working with on the new website which will be up next week. You will also be able to e-mail us your insurance company to see if we could get them on board. The way boating insurance is going up every little bit counts...not to mention you may just learn something new that may save your own or someone elses life...we will also be giving out new life jackets and gifts for people who bring there certificate for passing the course at our races...along with a number of other programs we have planned for the race sites.....
Also we are working with a major Corp. for the Super-Vee's on a little something which will be great for the fans and there sponsors that can't make it to the races....
