Once again, thank you for your complements. As promised, here are some photos of the Fort Lauderdale race last May. I will be posting more pics of the Dania race later on. I bet you never imagined how good you looked out there!!! Enjoy...

Great shots..Where you positioned (beach/boat) and what kind of camera did you use??

Thank you Marc,

I was on the beach with sand being blown into my equipment! That salt destroys everything. I was using a D100 that day.

Something else worth mentioning here. Getting these kinds of photos is not an easy task. I know - I've worked at it. Think about all the things that you have to do - have a perfect shoot location, fight the elements, get things in focus, catch the action (like when the boats are in the air), etc.

Most importantly, the photographer misses most of the action because of all this. It takes too much concentration on getting the pictures to be able to just enjoy the event at the time it is happening. Armand not only has supplied awesome pictures but also likely missed alot of the action because of it.
