OSS Welcomes All PX Boats

The Offshore Super Series has unanimously voted to allow all PX Boats to join the "Best of the Best" in St. Petersburg, Florida for the OSS World Championships! Your class is now open to all PX Boats regardless of the number of races that have been raced in 2005. We are very excited to have this new addition joining the OSS Family and look forward to seeing you in St. Petersburg.

If you are interested in attending the OSS World Championships in St. Petersburg, November 13th-20th, and would like the official race packet sent to your team, please contact the OSS Headquarters office at 361-888-9000.

Boy, I think I would rephrase that a little. Not trying to start anything. But I can feel a Shi@ storm brewing.

I don't remember hearing anything negative from the St. Clair race...

I thought they all got along quite well....

Did I miss something?

I have never personally known a member of OSS to treat P class racers badly, witnessed first hand in St. Clair, had a great time and can't wait to return.

Re: OSS Welcomes All PX Boats

Am I missing something? I have raced A.P.B.A. , S.B.I. and now O.S.S. - P boats and superboat , open class, modified, production, and now cat light. We had a great time in St. Clair with Jersy Boyz.(other than being upside down) Awesome group of people. Hopefully we can race with them again. Just a bunch of people who are into the same sport. There were no divisions other than race times. Over and over it is becoming obvious that a few individuals with some sort of agenda want organizations that they are not loyal to, to fail. Think about it is this negativaty good for the sport. I am speaking to people from both sides. To coin a phrase Remember, divided we fall. All this is , is history repeating itself once again. I am just a jockey. I dont know why we can't go to K.W. I have raced there since 1979 and I love the place. Some of my best friends will be there and others will be like me in St. Pete. All of you politically angry people please get angry at something else. You are phucking it up for the rest of us. Sarcasm, negative anaolgys, living in the past, axes grinding on and on, = FAILURE! It is hard enough to get sponsor $. Interested sponsors read this crap. It makes us ALL look like bickering school children. Please please pleasssssse stop. I really do not believe The best of the best means chit other than an advertising verb. It is certainly not aimed at another organization as far as all the teams that I know. The best were that, "the best"only in the last race of any organization. It certainly wasn't me. I would like to be the "best" at the next race I'm in albeit A.P.B.A.' O.S.S., S.B.I.,U.I.M. or what the hell ever!!

Re: OSS Welcomes All PX Boats

Hey Stan, I agree with ya! The Jersey Boyz had a GREAT time in St. Clair. NOBODY treated us like we weren't racers. It helps knowing most everybody, meeting new friends and seeing old friends that we haven't see since KW last year. I too agree that it would be a FANTASTIC EVENT for EVERYONE to run The Worlds in KW again this year but that's just a dream so you guy's be safe, have fun and run like hell and we'll all show photos of each others boats when it's all over in November. Say hi to Lyann for me, take care. Augie
