Jersey Skiffs a.k.a The Bouncing Bettys of Inboard racing. (Hey, I read it in Propeller magazine.)
My first taste was at Valleyfield, Quebec. I went crazy when I saw those guys putting the hammer down. Roll em up on the gunnel and they don't back off. No wonder they went to roll cages. Very exciting indeed!
Check them out if you have the chance. You will not be disappointed.

The class that coul really use AMF's support is the SLT (Super Light Tunnel)..

I have some boyz right here in south jersey with the moulds and an active group that would participate at least 12 boats or more we have a great little circut in our bay and they always need support. It takes balls to run these backyard boats. And along with the garveys OH ****! Scott if that is where you started that is truely white knuckle seat of your ass racing most of these guys are crazy pineys just used to the edge! Call me I can put you in touch with the South Jersey contact if need Be.

PS If there was a skiff circuit in FL we would still be racing them.

Description: Held on Lake Dora on March 23, 24, 25 & 26. This festival is the largest show of its kind in the USA and is attended by more than 50,000 spectators over the four day period of the event. More than 250 boats are displayed in the water and on land at the southeast's largest event of its type. Call 904-221-9290 for more information.
About 20 JS skiffs take people for rides out in the lake. Others are in and about the park grounds..
