Thanks Ken, please see what you can find out. Those hulls really look like the right type of vessel for the conditions. Please try to find out what sort of support Honda gives to the class.

I also sent an email to Honda looking for some info.

I do know that APBA LLC had discussions with them a few years ago, so who knows what their appetite is for racing in the US. Hopefully they'll be responsive.

If someone is serious about starting this class, I am in. I love outboards and those boats look like tons of fun. $24k can't beat that!

Apparently the SOB Class is already on the books according to RonP...

Happy to see all the interest in the SOBs....

Now hopefully this will be a class will have boats this season...

Very cool boats but you wont get one with a motor for 24K,

Does anyone know how much the boat minus motor would be, and what size is the motor??
I would certainly entertain running one, and maybe with Mercury power!!!
