Today would have been the 79th birthday of Don Aronow
He was a fierce competitor above everything else.
This is a photo of him winning a boat race after he retired. This is the only boat race he ever won drivng a Cigarette. All the other races were in Donzi's. Formula's, Magnum's and Cary's.

But remember, that he loved being the underdog....most of his career was in small boats that were underpowered compared to the competition.
