Thumbs up AMF/Powerboat article

Nice interview with John Haggin, I never completely understood the emergence of AMF so for me it was a great read. However, I do realize the importance of P class boats so I appreciate how much his generosity and support is helping the sport. I hope he brings the turbines back to St Clair this year.

That was my face when I read the comment that Ken Warbly fell asleep while navigating at the Crescent City Kilo's. I guess 130 mph did not phase him a bit

Are you coming to MI for the fundraiser next week? I heard AMF bought a ton of tickets. Mr P and I will be there, we want to support our local race

Re: AMF/Powerboat article

A navigators job is tough in the AMF Team....

When I do the LOTO speed run with Scotty and Arruda in the big Outerlimits,I like to go to the fridge in the cabin, crush some ice in the ice maker and make a great margarita then lay on the double bed and watch the run on the 42" tv.If Scotty's driving makes me nervous or Arruda is jerking the throttles and I spill my drink ,I can take a cold shower and freshen up, before I emerge and yell....."Are we there yet??????"
I mean,afterall,it is a performance "yacht."
Ten tons of utter luxery at 120+mph.
Yeah....its tough being the navigator with AMF.
Next trip ,I gunna find where the maids cabin is on board the damn thing,I mean, fancy having to make your own drink......
