OPA Prize Purse
I don't really know where to start here. With our new format of racing, we were a little concerned with attendance at our events. The question was, how do we insure the support of our teams. We decided to mandate 4 starts to qualify for a total purse payout. We then sent out Commitment forms to the teams, to see which of our races the individual teams would be attending. The response was overwhelming. Obviously our teams are serious about their racing. You have shown us your support, so we will show you ours. After discussions with our board, and Scotty B, The director of racing for AMF, we have decided your support should be rewarded. We have decided to wave the four start minimum, and will payout the total purse at each and every event. We feel the teams will make our series a success. All we can do is pave the road. The road leads to Algonac Michigan for the first stop on the OPA Tour. Get them ready Boyz, lets give them a hell of a show. Smitty

Things just keep getting better and better with OPA!
Smitty, has anyone else responded about P6? I'm having a paint job on the boat next week, and a new engine put in the following week-hoping to make Algonac!
