Thanks Mike!

I did the best I could, for the first time ever trying to keep track of each boat and their positions....

Multiple names on some boats drove me nuts!

Was following Wild Card and next thing I heard was A&R Trasnsportation..... Got me thinking, "Which boat is that and where did it come from? "

Bud Select or Bacardi Silver???

Great job all in all though from Talk Offshore.com!
With all the other obsticles they had to deal with, it was simply amazing they got a connection out for that long without
dropping off!

Great job guys!

Yep, that cell phone did pretty good today and the generator kept running. For those that don't know, we broadcast from a cell phone because there were no connections for 1/2 mile and no electricity where the booth/tent was.

Didn't drop once in 5+ hours of play. Quality wasn't the best but we did the best we could with what we had.

All three races are up on Talk Offshore for those that didn't get to listen. They are unedited or filtered/enhanced so please excuse the quality.

Thanks again for listening and be sure to thank our broadcast sponsors when you can by sending an email when you visit their sites.

Did places 1-9 all finish? Only Wild Card DNF?
According to the OSS website 1 thru 9 completed 10 laps

7 Lighting Jacks

What boat are they running? The same P1 boat as last year? Yes, the Skater.

1 Reliable Carriers
2 WHM Motorsports
3 JD Byrider
4 CMS Mechanical (DNF)

How was CMS running before they dropped out?
Rolled in the 1st turn on the first lap. I don't know what place they were in....

Where are the rest of the SC's? Seems like a low turnout.
Many seem to be still getting their boats together.

42 Boats made the first race of the year...
Many more to come ...

Talked with Bob & Mitch (CMS) last night before leaving Pickwick and they both said that they were okay but sore already - especially Mitch. They said that they were leading going into turn 1 of the first lap when the boat hooked and slammed upside down very quickly and violently. Boat was damaged quite extensively but thanks to the new MTI canopy design, the cockpit area remained intact. Sure was relieved to see them smiling and walking around in relatively good spirits after such a major accident.
