Re: turbine class
Due to demand (from AMF) OSSTX was created at OSS. Callan might swap pistons for turbines also.

Re: turbine class
Those guy's (Callan) were instrumental with regard's to "late model" turbine racing.
It will be very exciting to run with them. AMF is rigging the MTI turbine boat now which will join the fleet soon.

I wonder what other classes could be eliminated due to lack of participation? Maybe this is just a jab at John Haggin and the AMF teams that have chosen to participate in other venues. Seems a little childish to me.

Actually we have had a number of high profile teams inquire abot retrofitiing their boats to run Turbines. Even turned down to 1100 or 1300hp a 36 or 38 40 44 46skater ormti is capable of extreme speeds add 1000+ hour rebuilds in a race environment...why wouldnt a serious player consider them. I'll give you one more thing to think about..
1.8 G's nonstop through 170+mph.
As for negativity. The AMF team is a positive team...we'll work hard to keep it that way. Big Smile
