Bravo1 or Hydromotive Q-IV preffered offshore on V's?
What do most run in offshore racing? I remember every race boat had cleavers in the old days. My wife can't budget for a six blade right now is why I'm asking about these . Any input?

Test both and see what your set up and boat likes best. If they are labbed it's anyones guess. The Bravo normally gives more bow lift and the Hyrdo give more stern lift. I know that all the top race teams have multipul props for any given water type and event. I believe in SVL and up Herring is the choice.

We have tested several and so far we are using lab finished Bravo Ones. But we also are always looking for the next best thing.

I normally use a stock Bravo1 28 or 30. I really need a 29. So I bought a labbed 30 Bravo1 and for some reason I lost 600rpm and over 6 mph. Just did not make sense. I have a 29 Q-IV Hydromotive I just got and still have to get on the water. Thanks.

Throttle Up in Florida has a great reputation with both of those props and have outstanding customer service. I'd ask their advice if you still need help.

Talk to Matt and Julie, give them all the numbers and good and bad traits of your stock 30, and they can impove it. They have improved or repaired many for me. Picked up 2-4mph on 30 and 32 bravos. Great people!
