Great video, thanks for the post. I could not make the event but I was listening to the WRIF broadcasting live while I was wrenchin on the boat...not sure if it was motivating or just damn depressing?!
This venue was a perfect showcase for the offshores - close racing, close spectator viewing, etc. Great step forward for offshore. I can't even count the times I heard "offshore" on the radio and tv. Great PR. Just wish the St. Clair event was mentioned...

As well I noticed during all of the media coverage that I seen, not a mention of St. Clair. i was especially shocked when channel 4 did a segiment on offshore and no mention. Shame on the media for not investigating a little. But......What do you do?? Maybe by the grace of god they will pick up on our event next week. Food for thought.

Huge thank you to Tom Abrams for his hard work in creating this event. This is our Bristol!!
The live anouncers were the best I've ever heard for racing.
"they could make two dead ducks floating down the river an exciting race"

Yeah they were great anouncers very good. And the very short coruse made it interesting and using the heat system like Hydros was cool. We all had a blast this past weekend.
Dont fret about St Clair the bunch that handels the entertainment has a deal with WRIF and they bradcast the crap out of it and last year they even ran comercials on TV for the event. Also the carnival company that they have this year does alot of raido and TV spots where ever they go.
And besides St Clair is full of true Offshore fans it will be jammed as always.
And there will be plenty of Pic's and Videos afetr St Clair also
