ON THE CHIP,
Your boat and this boat were both built on or about the same time. Your boat was originally owned by the Reith's I believe(might be off with the spelling). The muscles boat was Carlos and Charlies and was run by Kurt Harbor Rodney Ridell and Jacl Carmody.(again not sure on correct spellings). Both of these boats set Kilo records the same year they came out at the Fountain Factory in the middle of the winter. The Carlos and Charlies 42' set a record of 131.94 and your 38' set a record of 101mph. Not sure if that was a B-class or D-class record.

Scrapman,
OntheChip whick was origianlly "Dragon Lady" before it was Shockwave and then Instigator. Rich Troppoli bought it from the Reiths. Rich later sold it to Joe Sgro when Joe needed another boat after his took a slide down a highway. Rich then bought Znetix and still owns that boat today. It was Shockwave then Rio Roses under Rich's ownership. I actually crew chiefed for the Shockwave team. A few races with the 38' and then the 39'.
Dragon Lady, Carlos and Charlies and the 45' Ohio Steel and INXS were all built in the same time frame at the Fountain Factory. I might know where some other boats are. Just ask.

Jimmy Speros knows alot about these boats as well. He worked with Art and was very good friends with him as well before moving and going out on his own. Maybe he can chime in as well.
