Default Helping Kids that would not have a Christmas without you..

For those of you who don’t know the Money raised will be
used to purchase Christmas presents for underprivileged kids.
It’s something we do every year. If we end up with mone
left over we'll put it to some sort of charitable cause.
Although not all of our parties are for charity. Let there be no
confusion about this one. It is 100% for charity.

Some presents will be delivered by Santa some will just be
dropped off. We do a little extra credit in screening the
family’s we pick to make sure they fit the bill for being
needy. I have a contact at the Good Shepard Coalition. Last
year we took care of every family on there list for Harrison
Township one or two in Roseville as well as SCS. I do
believe 11 totals. So please help me spread the word about
this awesome PARTY! It will be one of the bigger better
events of the year and has always had a huge turn out.

How it works. You can sponsor a Santa. We keep track of
their drinks and sometime through out the night you end up
donating around $20. Its usually $1 for every drink they drink
up to $20. The sponsors will NOT have to pay the $5 cover
to get in. The ones who choose not to sponsor do pay the $5
cover and all of that money is used to for the needy.

Location.
Fritts Pub, Mt Clemens Michigan

Here are some photos from the past.

Now our Santa needs to deliver the goods

Our Santa made a little extra special delivery last year…

Two years ago their were two families that didn’t quite fit the
bill for being so needy. Since then we started to screen the
families much better. One house was on a canal lot in SCS
the other one was the Gross Point house. Through out the
course of the day I delivered to several families. At the end
of the night we had a bunch of presents left over. I
remember one of the homes from earlier in the day
appearing to be a bit needier then the others as well as far
more appreciative. So I went back to that one. The boys
were the correct age for the presents so I returned to that
house and pretty much dropped the mother load on'em.

They were being raised by their grandma who was obviously
to old to be working or taking care of'em. Youll have to trust
me when I say they fit the bill 100% it was completely the
right thing to do.

Look on the couch behind em. They got the Mother load and very much deserved it.

The next day we still had presents left over. I wanted to
make sure they got delivered to some deserving kids by
Christmas. I think it was St. John on Maross. The nurse said
it was against hospital policy. BUT! Since its Christmas Eve
she was the only one working there in the Pediatric ward.
She’s taking advantage of holiday pay and pulling a dbl shift,
it ends at 5:00 AM. She told me to deliver the presents to
her and she would put them at the foot of the kids beds when
her shift was done. There were two kids, Im not sure if they
were brother or sister or what. Don’t remember. The nurse
said she wasnt allowed to give out any info on the kids, nor
was I allowed past the lobby of the Pediatric ward. After I
met her in the Pediatrics wards lobby and delivered the
presents she accompanied me on the elevator ride down.
She then explained to me in private that two of the kids and
their mom were in a car accident in Detroit. Hit by a drunk
driver. The Mom was in the hospital as well and nobody has
come to visit in close to 36 hours. …

As a boater I know I feel blessed being able to spend this
kind of money on a “Toy” while other less fortunate family
cannot even afford a present for there kids on Christmas
morning, or even heat for there home and food for there
tables. If you would like to help or donate money please feel
free to e-mail me [email protected] or call my cell 586 260-9518

If you live in Michigan and would like to stop by for a few
drinks it’s this Saturday Dec. 2nd 8pm-2am at
Fritts American Bistro, 77 N Main St, Mount Clemens, MI
