Max Helton has passed away
Friends,
Max Helton, founder of Motor Racing Outreach MRO passed away earlier today. MRO brought on site chaplain services to NASCAR and later both Unlimited hydro and Offshore. Jim Black came to us thru the leadership of Max.
Max was a dear friend, a counselor and presided over my marriage. Max was the most genuine person of Faith I have ever met. He walked his talk till the day he died. Jim Black is cut from the same cloth.
We're blessed to have Jim carry on in that same tradition.
For those of you so inclined, please keep Max, his wife Jean and their family in your prayers this evening.
