Default Looking for racing class that would be F1 years ago??

OK so i am not up on all the racing categories, but I just went through OSS, SBI, and P1 and could not figure out what say a Factory hull with 525efi class would be?? Actually forget the Factory hull, how about just a 525efi and XR??

Thanks

factory classes are gone...so, unless your under a canopy. You would fit into a P class. based on your boat's max speed . Im assuming you are in a 25 Baja outlaw. So, P-6 or P-5. SBI does not offer a P-6 class, so it would then be P-5

P-6 single engine V hull up to 26' max speed 70 mph
P-5 single engine V hull up to 30' max speed 75 mph

Due to the various size and power combinations, Many boats race and / or pleasure, dont fit into a specific class, so, to keep the amount of classes to a minimum, the speed cap keeps it fair.

There are spec classes as well. For example: a single 30' canopied boat with 525/efi and XR would fit into Vee Lite. That is the only single engine spec class available today.

WILL.
...If you are looking to get into racing...let me know..I'm in Va Beach....I can show you some of the rules and regs you would need to know....

There are 2 teams that are currently running in Class-5 from Va.....one in a 30 Super Boat out of Rich, Va and a team that used to race a Baja but now are racing a Joker out of Western, Va.
