Class 3; 20+ boats, one engine manufacturer, no speed limits... it can be done.

We watched them at the Class 1 race this spring in Qatar, it is quite the show.

Thats pretty cool.....the front shots remind me of the race we had Canada in 2001....they had the camera shot from the water that was in turn 2 and would film us coming all the way down from turn 1 in some choppy water....F1 and F2 had big boat counts...and thats the race were Jim A and Mitch M stuffed and the whole deck collapes on them and totaled the boat....that is some great footage from the water.....

There are seven of that class of boats here in the states currently. Most should be in Key West. Likely spread across two classes.

Shame is only Beckley ran a full season OSS and a couple SBI. Miccosukee and Stihl ran most of Sbi and a few OSS. Gary ran many of OSS and SBI. DVC ran a few SBI while others run class 3 OPA.

Great class over there, perfect example of fractured classes here.

Gary and Paul have it figured out for sure.

It is great racing over there for sure. No entry fee, free fuel, BIG Prize Money....attracts alot of teams. I wish more of the guys here would choose to race. Wether it be OSS or SBI the more teams that race the bigger purse we would get. SS is a really affordable class. If anyone is intrested in racing an OB SS boat feel free to ask me any questions. There are plenty of race ready boats for sale from 100,000.00 that cost about $5,000.00 per race to operate with entries, fuel , travel included......
