Default A good read

Love him or hate him, Max is a very smart man. He knows motorsports very well. He has been saying this for about 2 years now.

Comparisons can certainly be made to offshore powerboat racing here in the states and over seas.
With that being said, what does everyone think should be the future direction of offshore powerboat racing?

The LLC approach was the least expensive we could make it to do the full schedule the better. It looks like OPA is doing that in a different fashion and it is working for them.

"At present, if you can believe this, the engine and gearbox together, for an independent team, is upwards of 30 million Euro a year."

That is amazing.

aside from unlimited(NO RULES)...i feel we really need to benchmark the euro scene! it obviously is working...so well in fact, that US racers are leaving to race there. every org and every class will always have growing pains. we, as racers need to give the power to someone else.
