No it is a scaled down class one boat. They tooled &built the molds in the UK & layed the boat up there. Ian rigged the boat himself.

WRONG AGAIN!
OCKIE did the original design on the 6 litre boat. But victory has retooled the molds and builds them in house in Dubai @ the Victory compound. I've been there and seen them being layed up, they also lay up the class 1 boats there too.

The Kingfisher boat was built at Chris Parsonages yard in Plymouth where he runs his Class One team from - I saw the boat before it was painted and commentated on its first race in Torquay England, Gavin Parsonage is racing with Ian Blacker until he gets his own boat (I believe!). As Ryan says it is original and runs quite differently to a DW and quite capable of winning as they proved in Italy!
