Default OSS heads to the Crystal Coast Grand Prix

The Offshore Super Series (OSS) is on the way to beautiful North Carolina's Atlantic Coast.

The Racers Packet for the Crystal Coast Grand Prix has been posted at www.offshoresuperseries.com. The dates for this event are August 19-21, with Sanction by the APBA.

We will be the guests of Powerboat P1 USA. Both OSS and P1 will be racing heats on Saturday and Sunday. They have some great activities planned including a media race on the 18th, and a special race with representatives from 5 separate branches of the armed forces racing in the Sound of Freedom Grand Cup, Military Grand Prix. This will be a great celebration for our men and women in uniform in a part of the country that has a huge military presence.

Jeff & Keri McCann, our hosts and Race Producers have been working feverishly to make this a great event, and all racers from all organizations are invited to enjoy a great weekend of racing.

Mark your calendar on Saturday evening August 20th. , Joe Cascio from Team Purrfect, will be hosting a spaghetti dinner for all the teams in the pits, let's all join Joe and show him our family support.

There has been a change in the information contained in the racer's packet about the OSS entry fee... please seen below.

The OSS Board of Directors have voted and elected to offer the following to the race teams attending the Morehead City, NC race. This is to help teams who are struggling with this economy and also promote more boats to come out and race. Remember this is an APBA sanctioned race and all participants must join or be APBA members. OSS Teams, remember you are not only racing for OSS points, you are also racing for APBA points. Check the APBA website for standings.

OSS MEMBERS RACE ENTRY
SPEC CLASS $500.00
PRO AM $200.00
SINGLE EVENT NON-MEMBERS
APBA MEMBERSHIP $50.00 PER DRIVER & THROTTLE MAN

Mark your calendar on Saturday evening August 20th. , Joe Cascio from Team Purrfect, will be hosting a spaghetti dinner for all the teams in the pits, let's all join Joe and show him our family support.
