I've always envisioned a front canard wing- computer controlled like the Indy cars use to adjust downforce (manual adjust I believe).
Would probably have to be out in front (anticipate) any event due to the small wing and relatively large surface area of the hull....
Photo/newspaper clipping I have hanging out in the shop from Seattle hydros years ago.
A friend was dating the driver's sister (or something like that)..she was pretty upset..driver broke both legs..a prototype 4 point hydro...from memory.
