Was running 67 stock. Hit 76 last summer on 5 lbs after testing a million props and finding the best one. The engine will have 500 hrs on it mid summer so it will need pulled an freshened. Was going to do a 540 build but a friend told me i should just keep it a 502 amd utilize the blower i payed 7 grand for to its potential instead. I just need.to find a safe economical way to do so.

roughly 50 to 60 hp going from 5 to 7 pounds...with the proper tune, the 502 should take it... IMO,a better way to do it would be to do a cam change while rebuilding it

I kicked that idea around also. I figured dropping $400 on a custom ground cam would be a good investment. Would def go with a nice set of roller rockers also to free up a lil friction.
