To the best of my knowledge ,. There were only 3 F2 35s. Louie the rigger has 1. Daredevil has another. And the third is now tilted kilt. Don't know if any of those were the Rio roses boat.

Hmm, I think the one im looking for is a 38 and still holds the F2 kilo record at 110+ and was also called "Another Fountain"

Open or canopied? Being that you are searching for the 38 foot boat, and not the 35

I thought canopies weren't allowed in F2...Mitch miller and Matt rice???

my bad..i read your post on my Iphone. looked like 35. my eyes aint what they used to be. not sure bout the 38s. Canopies were legal in F-2 with SBI. Im pretty sure Rich Troppoli
only raced with SBI

There is a gentleman that goes by the screen name "mcprodesign" on here owns a former F2 open race boat and might be able to get you in the right direction, Heres a link to a thread with some photos etc(yes the thread is about F1 Fountains but he posted up some insight on the open F2's starting on Page 4 of the thread...http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/f...y-racer-4.html
