Yes SV was SVL I believe that was change after KW 2012 and put in the rule book for the 2013 session. Nothing firm on the carb motors yet still being talked about to looked into. If it was introduced to the class it would be in addition to the motor that are in the rule book now so teams could still continue to run what they have, I the event a team needed a new motor it would give them another choice other then 525 or the GM Vortec. Also still working on getting the Data Loggers program for this coming yr., getting close to working out all the details.

The Superboat class is using carb motor and also the Superboat Extreme class in 2014 and also will be using data logger if all the research we r doing falls into place. Both of those classes have a max rpm rule in affect as per the rule book for 2014. The Superboat actually played with a few different units in KW this past yr. They ( SB SBE ) use MSD now so they have rpm chips and that makes it a lot easier, the data logger would be a 2nd source of information. The plan is to make a max rpm rule in SV.

Outstanding Video of the last race in KW . Boat looked great.
I have not found a solution for he salt spray buildup on the front outside camera after a few laps that you experienced.
