Racing Insurance?

We would like to race this year on the APBA circuit and was wondering if there are insurance companies that insure race boats.I asked my current insurance company about coverage if we race, and they said there would be no coverage. Thanks in advnce for any info.

None that I know of. We have coverage uptill the start flag and starts back up once the race is over. Couple years ago there was a company that did cover Factory Series boats during the race, but they are no longer in business. Too many F2s got totaled while racing.

We use Blackadar Marine Insurance
blackadarmarine.com
Look them up and ask for Bill. He can explain and quote their coverage options for you.

Good Luck!

You can get the boat covered while trailering, while being stored etc, once it hits the water at a race site, the insurance ends.

Hi Rick,

yahoo searches came up empty looking for high risk Hawk Consultants. Do you have any contact info for these folks? Address? Phone no.?

Thanks.
