If you have an MSB box you can get a rev limiter kit for it and set it at the rmp that will take you to 79.9. If you have Holley or Crane the rev limiter is built in and you just have to set the dials. Make sure you are not setting it in calm water because it will get faster in some chop. Rumor has it you will be faster in salt water too.

Thanks Tom,

The drive on the boat is a 2" short drive, we are going to start testing with a 1" and 2" spacer which I would expect to slow us down (not to mention I will want the drive deeper when the water is rough anyways).

NICE BOAT
See you at Benica & Pittsburg
Going to the POPRA Rally & Poker run Jun 28 & 29 ?
I think 50 Points to Racers who run the rally. Check web site or flyers, or let me know I'll verify. The Sac Bridge to Bridge run is fun also.
By the way I think your making the right choice by dropping drives lower it gets pretty rough at times in both areas.
see ya around

Jim,
We did the Sac Bridge to Bridge last year in our 28' Nordic. This year we have a room at the Embassy Suites for Friday and Saturday night. I expect our group will be on fire that weekend.

We will be at the POPRA rally next weekend, not sure if they are actually giving points though. I was told we would get points for going to the SCOPE poker run, but once I was there was told that it did not look like they were going to award points.

Not that it matters, I would rather get the points WOT anyways.
