Key West Worlds - or bust?
There are rumors going around that the APBA Worlds in KW will be cancelled, possibly moved elsewhere:

Any input?
According to sources, the LLC had sent out feelers to alternate sites a few months ago.
Same sources report renewed activity in that regard.
Who's the sanctioning body for Lee A. Mill's race?

I sure hope so, Ed.
There are rumors flying around about an attempted coup d etat by Lee Mills. Which supposedly has been foiled. Just what we need.
A few days ago, racers received a letter from Lee A. Mills, inviting them to the Worlds.
This letter has 3 logos in the letterhead, none of them APBA. There is no mention of APBA, or any sanctioning body, in that letter.
Will it ever end?

Great plan and post from APBA on what must be a very difficult situtation. I am sure not every one understands the problems with power boat race promoters, but they are all affected by their actions. I am sure APBA will react in a positive manner to make sure this will not happen again ever. Go Orange Beach, Al. and the 2004 Season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
