Revised Switcheroo: Must go to St. Pete
Hmm. At the last minute, the Switcheroo Rule has been changed.
Details at http://www.apbaoffshore.com/rules.cfm
Salient points:
Competition in the final Pro-Series race is mandatory for a National Championship title and points from a previous Divisional race may NOT be substituted for the final race.
If you don't show up in St. Pete: Forget about switching.
However, to be eligible to drop the lowest point race, the team must have registered for every event and all entry fees must have been paid.
(Depending on what the meaning of 'every event ' is: ) You must have registered for all Pro Series races. Forget about switching if you owe money. Not paying bills is the norm in offshore racing, except for the racers.
Now, Judge Alweiss: Does this pertain to the 2003 season or to the 2004 season???? If it pertains to the 2003 season, it sounds a mite post ipso facto to this here gatehouse lawyer.
