Very special thanks to some very special people

First and foremost, I would like to thank Chris Reindl, Jesse, and Terrah for being such great people and for all their hard work and dedication to the world of offshore.

To Glass Dave, my throttleman, for dealing with me even when I started yelling " I have no more power steering in the boat", while coming around turn 6 outside the harbour.

To Bill Mauff, for including me at his wedding with such a special group of people. Like Bruce said in an earlier post, it couldn't have been a more perfect way to end the season, at a more beautiful location.

To Bruce, for being such a cool person and supporting me. I will be looking forward to some winter partying and boating with you.

To Ron P., his wife, Pat, and Willl S., it was nice to meet you!

And to anyone else who was in KW this past week and made it such a special and memorable time.

Ok, ok, I didn't win an Oscar or a Grammy, so I am stopping now!

Happy Holidays to all and heres to the 2004 season!

. . . . i will throttle for you anytime. i had a great time and you did an awesome job. we made a pretty good run for the lead from a mandatory late start for us ( they required us to start behind the field as GEBB's first race). in three laps we actually took the lead for a brief time but got squeezed out avoiding the HighRisk accident (thank god those guys are alright). after that we cought up to them again by outdriving them in the rough water on the long back leg of the course. rounding the turn 6 marker we lost steering and had to throw in the towel (ya gotta have steering to race ya know ) well . . thats racing . .like i said you did a great job and hung in there. hope i wasnt to rough on ya barking instructions . i was very impressed with how you handled the situation it was intense out there for sure.

i would also like to thank Chris and the crew for giving me the opportunity to run OneDesign again. always a blast and to anyone that has not been in one of these boats, they are amazing. Give Chris a call and get signed up for next season

Chris please also tell Tarah my thoughts and prayers are with her after her recent loss of a family member. let me know if you need anything.

After an acceptance speech like that, you need a photo to finish the story.

It was nice to meet you too.

Well Ron get posting, it was you taking the pics at the awards!

As for pics of the race, they are all stuck on 35mm, so
it will be a few days, as I am up north this weekend!

Chris, tell Terrah, my thoughts are with her and her family and I will give her a call over the weekend.
