Default OPA NOrtheast - Reindl One Design Race Deal

A few race teams have asked me if we would do this, so we decided it would be a good idea if someone was interested in the whole 5 race series. We are already replacing all the engines for the One Design Series boats, and would be willing to build someone a boat for lease or sale for a specific class.

Say you want to race P4. We will build the boat to go 79.99, and we all know how the bat boats perform in the rough water up there.

You would have to run the season, as our goal is to help build up the racing numbers and fun for everyone up there. Looks like all the race dates are going to be good for us, and we would be willing to throw some contigency cash into the series as a whole also.

The dates are as follows and we would be willing to drop the price $1000 per race to bring it to $3500/event. That's right, $10,500 per person for the entire season. We do all maintainence, travel and crew work - and the engine and drive are guarenteed. Where else do you get that in racing?

Here is the 2004 schedule:

Brick,NJ - June 26,27 - Ocean Race
Atlantic City,NJ - July 18,19 - Ocean Race
Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ - Aug. 12,13 - Ocean Race
L.I. / CONN. Area - Aug. 28,29 - Bay Race
Cambridge, MD - Sept. 25,26 - Bay Race
Delaware River Area - Oct. 9,10 River Race

Racing is alive in the NorthEast!

In reality we could run a PX boat, but the lease price certainly would have to go up and it would have to be a proven race team. In P3 you could still beat the big boats in the rough water. We are considering a P2 for the GLSCS and Harry Clack won a bunch of P2 Pro tour races in his, so it can be done.

We make a 24 and a 28. I was refering to the 24. We are also working on a custom OMD 38'-39' that does not have wings.

Chris,
I want a 28' version of the 24 that I can race in SVL. Same look, same canopy, same layout (just a wee bit bigger).

Any chance of that happening?
