Re: The Algonac Pictorial
Blue definitely won over Black.
Hey, we didn't even attend the Awards and decided to haul derriere back East (this is reaching you from deep in PA on I-80.) We brought Trophy ***** who's sole purpose in life is to carry the Typhoon trophies (and to ***** about it.) Trophy ***** went home unemployed.
When we heard (somewhere in Ohio) that we were awarded 3rd, we immediately launched a protest and sent the proper Nutz to collect their rightful winnings.
Our biggest win is the fact that the Nutz are evenly matched, which should make for hairraising racing in St. Pete and beyond. And we'll bring the ***** to all the races.

Re: The Algonac Pictorial
FYI, setup info on Black & Blue
In Algonac, Blue ran a "Modified Gipsy Drive" with a XR Sportmaster lower. Black ran the "standard Gipsy" (IMCO extension, XR upper, IMCO lower.)
Blue ran the new Throttle-Up 6-blade Hydromotive prop, whereas Black ran their 5 blade Hydro.
Both run a HP525.
The Sportmaster lower gave Blue better cornering capabilities at the price of a little top end speed, the 6-blade gave them better acceleration. And that was just the small edge they needed to trump Black.

Re: The Algonac Pictorial
Klaatu, sorry I missed this one.
My next assignment is the APBA/SBI race in Sarasota on the 4th. I'll be following the female racers to tell the story from thier point of view. Looking for some great Bat Boat racing.
So who's lining up to kick BatGirl's arse? I think she has a score to settle.
